New to the area and so glad we tried this place out. Service was wonderful and the ambiance was great. Food was very good and well seasoned. The mac and cheese and the parmesan crusted chicken were amazing !

Used the online check in. Did not work. After waiting for a text we went in. LUCAN made our night and sat us within minutes. Above and beyond service. Food was good too!

My husband and I love the weekday lunch specials here and since I had a day off, we took the opportunity to visit. The place was relatively busy for lunch hour, but we were promptly seated and able to order immediately. I ordered the grilled chicken and strawberry salad lunch order that comes with a side of soup; loaded potato soup was an easy choice. Hubby ordered the crispy ranch chicken sandwich with fries. Both items are affordable lunch options! We first received crispy crusty bread as a pre-meal tummy stuffer. Cutting the bread blasted crumbs all over the table and the extra cold butter was hard to spread, but the bread was quite hearty and deliciously soft. We quickly received our meals, though my husband's sandwich came without the ranch dressing inside. We had to wait a while until the server returned to the table and another 3 or so minutes until our server returned with mayo (since there was no ranch, he just replaced with mayo instead). Luckily after all that time, his sandwich was pretty warm, as was my soup...so it was a minor inconvenience. This salad was scrumptious...you could taste every element from the freshest strawberries, tender chicken, crispy lettuce, plump grapes, candied pecans, generous feta and a tangy raspberry vinaigrette. I couldn't stop yummmmming all through my salad. The soup was okay...loved the bacon crumbles and green onions, but the potatoes were scarce and it didn't wow me. It may have been a "me" issue. Hubby loved his sandwich...chicken was perfectly cooked and once the mayo was added, he gobbled that entire thing down.

Good food for a chain. Unique Texan/cowboy decor. And service was better than average.

If you are looking for great food, service, ambieance, and quiet enough so you can actually hear the person you are with then this is the place. We started with the shrimp appetizer which is amazing! I had a Berry Sangria...very berry good. I finally found a place that understands just how to cook a steak... rare, medium rare, medium and well done. Our waitress was super nice and right on time with everything, even bringing us more of their incredible bread. We both had the ribeye, and both were very good, just a little on the thin side for ribeue, but very tender and well cooked. We will definitely be back and I definitely recommend com8ng here.

The food was phenomenal!! The loaded baked potato soup was so flavorful!! The steak also melted in my mouth. Our server was very polite and I love when restaurants have a mobile pay option when a place is really busy. The restaurant is also soooo nice I love a good steakhouse and this is definitely that. I would say it was a 4.5 only because the brussel sprouts were not to my liking at all. Way too sweet. Other than that, exceptional food.

First time dining at a Longhorn's restaurant. We were a party of four adults, and there was a significant wait time to be seated. I took the packed restaurant as a good sign, and it was worth the wait. The restaurant decor is western cowboy themed, and was tastefully done. I have usually found casual steak houses to be just ok, with adequate food and service, and not something I would rave about. Longhorns is an exception. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, and despite being crazy busy with a full house, service was on point. We ordered the Outlaw Fibers to split with my partner, as 20 ounces was too much for either of us to eat. It comes with a salad and choice of side, which we ordered the baked potato, which also was large enough to share. My Son in law ordered the Renegade with mashed potatoes, and he cleaned his plate, so it must have been pretty tasty. My daughter is not into steak, so she got the chicken tenders and mac & cheese, which she enjoyed. For dessert, we splurged on the Chocolate stampede to share. It was super yummy! We so thoroughly enjoyed our meals, so much so, we will definitely return on our next visit to Boise! (Outlaw Fibers was an auto correct, it was supposed to read Outlaw Ribeye.) The biggest surprise was the check. With tax and tip, the final total was what we normally would spend for two, including an alcoholic drink each, for dinner in our very pricey state of California. So dinner for four was a great bargain as well.

We were celebrating my father in law's birthday tonight and he picked Longhorn. For a Monday night, this place was buzzing!! There was a slight wait for our table but after a 20 minute wait we were finally seated. The host did give us a coupon for a free dessert or appetizer for our wait. There was a mix up on communication with our table and took longer than anticipated to get set up. That was a kind gesture for the miscommunication. For dinner tonight I had a lobster tail and a side of asparagus. The lobster was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The asparagus was fresh. It was the perfect sized meal for me. Connor served us tonight and did an amazing job. We were a rather big party but our drinks never ran dry and he constantly checked up on us. This was one of the best dining experiences so far!

I've eaten here a few times. Pretty much any time I am in the Boise area. The place is an institution and has amazing steak. I usually go for the prime rib which is always cooked to perfection. Not at all inexpensive as you might expect. You won't get much change from a Grant. The place is usually packed and especially on a Sunday evening for some reason. I usually sit at the bar where you can get immediate seating. Wait staff is amazing as you'd expect. If you are a carnivore you are going to just love this place!
